Drink Local Tree - Moolah Shriners Feztival of Trees Fundraiser
This year I am teaming up with the Moolah Shriners to create one of the biggest and best trees ever for the return of their annual Festival of Trees this November 20th thru 26th !
This fundraiser is a magical event where donors help contribute a gift-laden tree to the Moolah Shriners with public having the opportunity to buy tickets to take chances to win the trees with all the gifts, or in this case beer! This is typically one of the biggest annual fundraisers of the year for the Shriners and you can help make it even bigger while helping the Shriners continue their mission of compassion and generosity to others.
Over the next couple of months, I will be reaching out to local St. Louis breweries to start planning and building out the Drink STL Beer Tree.

WHAT IS FEZTIVAL OF TREES?
A magical event where businesses donate a gift-laden tree to the Moolah Shriners in trade for advertising. The public then has the opportunity to buy tickets to take chances to win the trees with all the gifts. The Moolah Shriners are hosting their 4th annual “Feztival of Trees .”This is a magical and exciting Christmas event for all ages. Soon you will be able to visit the Donation Form to record your donation items and estimated value, once submitted I will be in touch to coordinate pickup of items and transport them to the fundraiser location.’

What Can We Donate?
The only requirement for donations is that the total value of the combined contributions under the tree is at least $500 (this will be the total value of all donations from ALL breweries)
Your donation could be as simple as a single four/six-pack, gift card, merchandise, or even a limited release bottle from your breweries cellar program (should you have one). Please donate what you and your team feel is acceptable; there is no contribution too small (or big).
How Can we keep track of donations and vouelnteer work?
During the process I will be documenting the entire process on a private blog shared with donors, I will outline each and every item donated as it will be outlined on the donation sheet for the tree. I will be volunteering my time collecting the items, setting up the display, and purchasing/donating miscellaneous items needed for the display.
How will the display look?
Currently there several ideas being discussed, however it will likely be a small tree decorated with local brewery stickers and lights, with the beer sitting below the decorated tree.
How will we promote the tree?
While I plan on taking photos and sharing on social media, I encourage the breweries to also take an active part in promoting the tree (as well as their contribution) via their social media channels. Once setup, I will provide the photos directly to the contributors to use on their own social media channel.
